Eugene Ruffolo

Singer/songwriter/guitarist Eugene Ruffolo wears many hats. He has toured the world in support of his four Cds of original music, which have been critically hailed both in the U.S and abroad. Rolling Stone Magazine called his unique voice “utterly intruiging”. In his home town of New York City, he is a sought after studio vocalist, lending his signature sound to projects in records, television, and film. His voice can be heard on numerous Hollywood Film soundtracks. He has worked with legendary film producer and composers George Lucas, Brian DePalma, and Ennio Morricone. His singing has been featured on The Letterman Show and Saturday Night Live, and he has been the voice behind countless national advertising campaigns. In live and recorded performances he has shared the stage with artists as diverse as Garth Brooks, Livingston Taylor, Spyro Gyra and Run DMC to name a few. His songwriting has earned him first prize in both The Merlefest and prestigious Telluride Troubador Song competitions. In the world of advertising Ruffolo’s compositions have been nominated for Clio awards, and for his work on several children’s recordings, he has won the coveted Parents Choice Award. Eugene is grateful to have the opportunity to share his talents with children and those who love them through his work with The Songs of Love Foundation.
