When we launched StudyKIK back in 2014, we started by building something revolutionary: a global network of patient-focused communities, giving us direct access to qualified patients covering virtually every major therapeutic area.
Since then, we’ve continued to grow those patient communities while working side by side with sites and patients to build industry-leading tools and services that make clinical trials easier for the world.

The WeHeal Foundation was founded in 2003 by the Silicon Valley Community to save the life of a local man, Eric Drew, who was diagnosed with 100% terminal leukemia. After 2 years of failed treatments, Eric eventually worked with doctors in Europe to put together an experimental stem cell transplant. Done in the US, but they found the frozen stem cells that saved his life in a small cryo-bank in a basement in Milan Italy.Since his miraculous survival, Eric has dedicated his life to saving lives by providing advocacy services to patients and families through the foundation, and supporting a variety of advocate initiatives all focused on finding and accessing optimal treatments! He calls the global initiative “CrowdHealing’!
